Pastor Reitz came and talked to us about Ash Wednesday. He showed us the ashes that would be used to make the crosses on people's foreheads.
We had fun playing in the commons
There was a teacher collaboration today so we got to go to Mrs. Stanglein's room to play in their "circus"
In small groups we used markers to make flowers that we are going to hid until Easter!
We also painted Alleluia banners that will be hidden in our Lenten box until Easter.
We made our own "ash" crosses and colored cross pictures
We also made our own Dr. name tags and worked on counting out syllables in our friends names.
