Free Play time

For our attendance this morning we voted on whether thought Mrs. Helmkamp was having a boy or a girl. We had 3 votes boy and 7 votes girl.

We were very excited to have large motor time today on the "big" playground.

At snack time Mrs. Helmkamp revealed that her baby is a girl by sharing pink berry Oreos with everyone. (now we just have to keep the secret for tomorrows class)

Before small groups we got to take a look at the baby models to see what a baby looks like as they are growing in the mommy's tummy.

In small groups we got to take a closer look at the baby models. We were amazed at how small we were when we were in our mommy's tummies. We were excited to get to see how they felt. 

We also drew pictures of our families using the family words: MOM, DAD, BROTHER, and SISTER to practice writing

We also used baby bottles to do dab paintings.

For Jesus time we are learning the story of the Good Samaritan. In the story Jesus reminds us that we are to love everyone.
