Large motor time in the Commons

We read the book Mix it Up! by Here Tullet. It is by the same author that wrote Press Here. It was fun to interact with the book and participate in the the story.

 We were able to mix colors in small groups using eye droppers (a new skill for some of us). We used red, blue, and yellow.

We drew pictures to tell what we liked about the story Mix it Up!

During small groups we painted circles using primary colors and got to see what the secondary colors were as the circles overlapped.

 In Jesus time we are learning about Bartimaeus, who was blind. When Jesus was coming by with a large crowd, he called out to Jesus to heal him. Jesus heard is call and told him that his faith had healed him.
