Once again many of our students were gone today due to illnesses.
This morning we went over to the church to practice for our Christmas service.
Mrs. Hoehner led chapel today in the Commons. She shared with us the best gift of all at Christmas, the gift of Jesus.
We read a story about Candy Canes and learned how they can tell us about Jesus.
We painted Candy canes using large and small paint brushes.
We made candy canes using beads and following a pattern: red, red, white, white.
We also used play dough to make candy canes. We had to count the stripes we added so that they matched the numbers on our paper.
We had fun with some extra free time to play
