During Jesus Time today we learned about the woman who anointed Jesus' feet with oil. The disciples thought she wasted her expensive oil when she could have sold it and given the money to others, but Jesus thanked her for showing her love.
During small groups we:
Wrote down everything that we know about castles from who lives in castles to the parts of a castle.
We practiced making the letter "K" with wood pieces and our magnet boards.
We also played a dice game. We would roll the dice and identify the number and then cover that many spaces on our game board.
We spent a little bit of time out on the blacktop. We had fun playing freeze tag and playing with the playground balls.
During center time we really enjoyed our new castles and knights. Mrs. Helmkamp talked with everyone so we could figure out what other things we needed for castle play.
