Classroom Castle

This morning we tried some new games while we waited for our friends to come. We will continue learning how to play our games next week because not all of us got a chance to play.

During small groups today we worked on counting more/less and adding and subtracting, we also practiced writing the letter "C" on the magnet boards along with the letters of our names, and we worked on sorting buttons by color, size, and shape.

We did spend a little bit of time outside this morning. The boys were very excited to see the rock pit filled and new scoopers.

During center time the students helped me figure out how we could make a castle in the dramatic play center. We made a drawbridge and added cardboard to the top to make the "bumps"

Mrs. Helmkamp had to cut the drawbridge with the big scissors.

We also drew pictures of castles.
