Christmas Cards

We had a bit of a backwards day today because we went to they gym at the end of the day.

We started out the day by practicing in the church for our Christmas Service on Sunday. Thankfully with our 6 singers this morning you could still hear them in the back!

For Jesus time we watched a short video about Baby Jesus being born. We talked about how special it was that Jesus was a King and the shepherds and wise men followed the star to find him.

We had some fun playing with a new Nativity that Mrs. Helmkamp found.

We made our own wrapping paper to wrap our Christmas presents in
Behind Nicholas you can see the teeter-totter that he made. He was a little disappointed when it didn't work though

We also made our own Christmas cards. We worked very hard on the pictures and writing the words to go inside.

Some of us finished decorating our Christmas trees using spoons this time.

We wrapped our presents and they are ready for you to open at home.

We talked about whether we were going to keep it a surprise or let Mom's and Dad's open them right away.  I think most were too excited to wait.

In the gym we played "What Time is it Mr. Turkey" (special request)

Then we just had some fun running around. We also tried to walk just on the lines all around the gym.
