The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Today I was busy catching up on technology needs and printing report cards for the Elementary grades. Thank you to Mrs. Horn for subbing for me.

Free play time
New Legos to play with

Large Motor Time in the commons

During our Large group time Mrs. Horn read, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and the students participated by using cards to help act out the story

During small groups the students used picture cards to try to match the patterns with the legos.

We made observational drawings of our plants that are growing. The radishes are coming up really well and the carrots are just starting to come up.

We painted fall salt dough cutouts.

We worked on our writing as we reproduced pages from The Very Hungry Caterpillar book. Students had to copy the day of the week and number to go with it. Then they had to make an accurate drawing for the number.
