Summer Safety

We traced our arm and hand this morning for a project.

Then we painted the hand with Sunscreen we placed our hand prints in the window to see how the sunscreen protects our hand from the sun.

 After snack we went to the library to use the SMARTboard as we talked about Summer Safety

 We talked about times we should wear sunscreen

 When we should wear helmets

 And First Aid

 We also learned the Eyes, Ears, Mouth Rule for wearing our helmets. We will practice this on Wednesday and Thursday with our bike helmets.

 We gave our grass people a haircut. (We also talked about not giving real haircuts) We can give our grass person another haircut after it grows some more.
